Q: What is a My Health Story account?

A: A My Health Story account is automatically created upon a paid subscription. The account contains contact details the subscriber enters when registering such as a phone number, email and postal address.

Q: Who can create a Health Story?

A: Anyone can subscribe and create a My Health Story account.

Q: I’m a health care professional; how can I refer a patient/patients?

A: Anyone can become a My Health Story Affiliate. View the information here.

Q: Is My Health Story available to everyone in the world?

A: Almost everyone. My Health Story is available to most cyber-safe countries with an internet connection. Woocommerce Payments process subscriptions. 

Q: Who will be able to view the health story?

A: The subscriber controls who sees their health story by creating Access Links and personally sharing the unique URL. The Access Links are fully controlled by the subscriber only and can be revoked anytime.

Anyone with whom the subscriber has shared an Access Link can view the health story for free.

Q: How can the health story be viewed, and when?

A: The health story can be viewed on any browser with a live internet connection. Any updates made by the subscriber sync in real-time.

Q: How do I share my health story?

A: After creating your health story, navigate to the Access menu item and follow the instructions. A subscriber can make various Access Links for various people/professionals.

If you change your mind about an Access Link you created, you can retract/delete the Access Link/s at any anytime. You can email the Access Link to share your health story or print it out to mail or hand out.

A subscriber can also present their health story via a hand-held device.

Q: What if I don’t want to share all the information in my health story/stories?

A: My Health Story further allows privacy control within each section should a subscriber not want to share the full details contained within the health story/stories.

Q: Who can make changes to the health story?

A: Only subscribers can make changes to their own patient health story.

Q: Is the information private?

A: Yes. Each health story can only be accessed via the patient’s personal and secure login. All users, upon registration, must read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

Q: Will My Health Story ever sell or share your information in any way or form?

A: Never. And if ever the situation arises where we feel privacy has been breached, all users will immediately be notified.

Q: Can a health story be downloaded and printed?

A: Yes. A downloadable PDF option is available and generated by the subscriber.

Q: Does the patient need to pay to download or view the information?

A: No, there is no additional cost after subscription to the user. Unlimited health summaries can be made, as well as unlimited Access Links.

Q: Can images such as MRIs, scans and x-rays be stored on a patient health story?

A: Electronic files (such as PDF, jpg, png, doc) can be uploaded and stored securely in the Filing Cabinet of a subscriber’s health story. Please read our Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions before uploading your health information.

Q: Where do the patient files reside?

A: All files are stored on the most trusted WordPress platform WP Engine. Only administrators and development partners can log in to this area.

Q: How safe is my information from unauthorised access?

A: My Health Story takes every precaution to protect this website and all the information. However, like all information submitted on the internet, there are risks. Please read our Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions before subscribing.

Q: What if I don’t renew my subscription?

A: My Health Story doesn’t archive your personal health information; therefore, the full health story will be deleted after you have been notified.
